Prime Minister of India Visited South Africa: List of MoUs
Shri Narendra Modi, Prime
Minister of the Republic of India, paid an official visit to the Republic of
South Africa from 7 to 9 July 2016. Prime Minister Modi in his first visit to
South Africawas accompanied by a delegation comprising senior government
officials.
President of the Republic of
South Africa H.E. Mr. Jacob Zuma warmly received Prime Minister Shri Narendra
Modi on 8 July 2016 at the Union Buildings of South Africa.
Memoranda of Understanding(MoU) were
signed by the two sides:
- Memorandum of Understanding on Information and Communication Technology
- Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Grassroots Innovation in the area of Science and Technology
- Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism; and
- Programme of Cultural Cooperation
