IIT-Kanpur adopts villages under Namami Gange
IIT-Kanpur has adopted five villages to restrict the flow of sewage into
the river under the Namami Gange programme .
- It will be done by the institute’s civil engineering department
- L Ramel Nagar,
- Khoyra Katree,
- Pratapur,
- Hari Hindpur, and
- Katri Ladhva Khera.

is Union Government Project which integrates the efforts to clean
and protect the Ganga river in a comprehensive manner.
