Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the recruitment 2017 notification for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Data Entry Operator(DEO).

Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): 898 posts
Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA): 2359 posts
Data Entry Operator(DEO): 2
Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Nill
Age Limit : as on 1st August 2018 (18-27 years)
Exam Fee:
General Candidates: Rs 100/-
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen (eligible for reservation) are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Government Orders.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be shortlisted and recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their total marks in the Paper – I & II and preference for the posts.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern:
This is a (DES)descriptive exam and is conducted offline. Candidates need to write Essay/Letter/Application/Precis. This is to test the written skills of the candidates in English/Hindi. The best way to prepare for the same is to read lots of articles from various newspapers. Focus on the Intro. and conclusion of the Essay. Apart from this, you need to be well aware of the pattern of Letter and Application.
SSC CHSL Tier-III Examination:
Tier-III of the Examination would be the Skill Test/ Typing Test which would be of qualifying nature.
The final merit of the successful candidates would be determined on the basis of total score obtained by them in Tier-I and Tier-II.
